The old carousel horse gleamed under the museum spotlight, its painted eyes seeming to follow him. Leo walked through the gallery, admiring the exquisite craftsmanship. He was a collector and a lover of art, and felt a profound connection to the objects around him. He'd spent a great deal of time, effort, and money building the collection he had.

He pulled his phone from his pocket, checking for messages. An email from his accountant. It contained a link to an art appraisal website. The site showcased a painting, attributed to a deceased artist, but in reality, a piece he had painted in his youth.

He stood very still for a moment, examining the email. He inhaled, then exhaled slowly, a faint smile playing on his lips. "Well," he muttered to himself, "This is certainly...interesting."
